Important: Due to the high volume of daily tandem bookings fun jumpers may visit the Palm Dropzone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, only. We also advise that you factor in delays due to the tandem operation when planning your visit.
As of January 1, 2018, all licensed skydivers new to the Palm dropzone are required to hold a USPA D-license (or its equivalent). If you’ve already skydived at the dropzone you are now required to have a USPA D-License (or its equivalent). These changes have come into effect due to ongoing construction projects taking place around the dropzone.
All skydivers must comply with the Palm Dropzone's currency requirements and must have logged one skydive in the last 180 days. Please make sure your logbook is up-to-date and stamped and signed by a licensed skydiver. If you're visiting our dropzone for the first time you will need to do an orientation Hop-and-Pop jump. If you need a recurrency skydive, you will first need to visit our Desert Dropzone.
Your reserve repack must be within 180 days. If it exceeds this you will not be allowed to jump with the rig.
Skydiving gear equipped with high-performance canopies (Cross-braced) and/or skydivers with a wing loading higher than 2.0 must have a minimum of Cypres Speed or its equivalent.
It is recommended that skydivers hold insurance policies that cover both first- and third-party liability.
