Yes, you can rent a rig. However, we have a weight limitation for using our equipment, and you must weigh 100 kg or less (with shoes and clothes on). The rental price is AED 110.

Tandem skydiving is an exhilarating experience for first-time skydivers. The average human body falls at approximately 200 kmph, although this can increase or decrease depending on bodyweight and position.
As with any adventure sport, skydiving has an element of risk. However, we take every measure to minimise this risk by using state-of-the-art gear which includes an automatic activation device (AAD), that will deploy the parachute automatically in the unlikely event that your instructor is unable to do so. Furthermore, all our tandem instructors undergo extensive selection, training, and certifications. Our parachutes are meticulously maintained under the supervision of certified Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) riggers and our aircrafts meet the highest industry standards.

The time mentioned in your booking confirmation email is your arrival time, it is not your skydive time. For example, if you selected a slot of 10:00am, please arrive at 10:00am.
We ask that you plan to spend between three to four hours from check-in to when you complete your skydive. While we strive to get you in the air as soon as we can, weather conditions and other factors may cause delays. So, it's best to have a flexible schedule on the day of your skydive. If our skydiving operations are on "standby", you are welcome to reschedule to another date.
If you are visiting Dubai, book your tandem for the first half of your trip, giving you time to reschedule, should you need to in case of bad weather.
A standby is when skydiving operations are temporarily suspended due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In the UAE, the primary interference comes from the wind, both at ground level and at different altitudes. During a "standby", conditions are closely monitored, and operations will resume once they are deemed suitable. If conditions do not improve, operations will be canceled.
Yes, it does. While we don’t see too much cloud cover in the UAE, poor visibility, precipitation, or winds (especially at higher altitudes) can sometimes delay proceedings. If poor conditions persist, we may have to cancel operations for the day, in which case you can reschedule to the next available date or apply for a refund.
While we always do our best to communicate operational changes ahead by phone or email , there may be occasions where we need to close our dropzones without prior notice. Yes, both our locations have their own runways. After you receive a full briefing from your tandem instructor and complete your pre-skydive interview with your cameraflyer, you will be escorted to the boarding area on the runway. There, you will receive a pre-boarding safety check, and get a few pictures taken. Finally, you will board the aircraft with your instructor and videographer. After you reach the correct altitude and exit the aircraft for your skydive, you will land back at our location with your instructor.
Female customers are eligible to request for a female instructor, and while it depends on staffing and availability on the day, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note, this may increase your waiting time. For the Palm Dropzone bookings, you can let us know when you check-in for your skydive. For the Desert Campus, please make sure to email us at least 24 hours prior to your booked time. Please be sure to make a reservation earlier in the day to ensure we have time to accommodate the request.

Your tandem skydive package includes a standard video and photos, delivered to your inbox within 48 hours. The standard video is filmed by a seperate vieographer that will jump with you and your instructor to capture the moment. Want to share your thrill-seeking moment instantly? Upgrade to our social media edit for a one-minute highlight reel. For a unique perspective, add the selfie-view package to capture your jump. The selfie- view package is captured by an additional camera that your tandem instructor will wear on his/her wrist.
While our team uses top-notch equipment, unforeseen circumstances like weather or technical glitches can occasionally impact video quality. We strive for perfection, but we thank you for understanding that these factors are beyond our control.
Given the popularity of tandem skydiving in Dubai, we suggest you book your skydive in advance. If you are a tourist and are visiting Dubai, we advise that you schedule your skydive for the beginning of your trip in case it needs to be rescheduled due to bad weather. Reservations must be made through the live booking calendar on our official website.
Palm Dropzone: If you haven’t booked in advance and would like to skydive, you can visit our locations and enlist yourself on the daily waiting list.
After you add your name to the list, our staff will provide you with a time to return. Please note that the list operates on a first-come, first-served basis. While we do our best to accommodate everyone, availability depends on the day's bookings and scheduling.
Each person must add their own name to the list. Friends, family or Skydive Dubai staff cannot do so on their behalf.
Important: Customers whose bookings may have been affected/cancelled by Skydive Dubai due to weather conditions and/or other unforeseen circumstances, will have priority on the waitlist, if applicable.
Priority Fee booking (Palm Dropzone, only): This option is available for customers who do not have a confirmed tandem reservation. To avail this, you must show up at our Palm Dropzone on the day you would like to skydive.
Please note, there are a limited number of priority slots available each day on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to weather conditions and operations. Each slot can be purchased for a last-minute priority fee of AED 700. The customer will have to pay this fee in addition to the regular tandem price, depending on the season.
Once purchased, you will be guaranteed the next available tandem slot on the day. You will also receive our standard edited video, photos and insurance as part of the regular tandem package.
Walk-in Fee: If you do get a turn to skydive, you will need to pay a booking fee of AED 300, in addition to the regular tandem price, depending on the season. You will also receive our standard edited video, photos, and insurance as part of the regular tandem package.

We do not have a daycare facility or offer child supervision services. Young children must be supervised at all times. Also, pets are not permitted on the premises.
We have a waiting area for friends and family accompanying you. We also have a cafe, free WiFi, and an outdoor viewing deck from where they can watch skydivers land.
Children under the age of 15 years must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
If both parents are booked for a tandem and you are bringing your child/children along, please select a morning check-in time slot. This way, we can add each of you to different flights, so that one parent always remains with the child/children. If you book a later check-in time, we will not be able to accommodate you on different flights. Kindly let our staff know when you check-in on the day of your skydive, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
We accept all valid licenses, recognised by FAI. However, you should be aware of your license limitations and only perform jumps in accordance with it. We advise you to also contact the issuing federation and enquire about the validity and proof of your license prior to your arrival. Please note, the Palm Dropzone requires a USPA D license or its FAI equivalent.
Solo skydivers are welcome to jump at the Desert Campus. Please make sure to contact the team before you visit to check if it is open and operating.
Due to the high volume of tandem skydivers at the Palm Dropzone, licensed skydivers may not always be guaranteed a plane slot. We encourage checking availability ahead of time to ensure a smooth experience.

When you sign up for the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) course, you will be accompanied by our instructors, before you begin your journey to get you’re a license.
All the 'AFF' jumps will be at the Desert Campus only. This is because the Palm Dropzone requires a high level of skydiving experience; a minimum of 1,000 jumps.
Yes, both the USPA 'A' license and 'AFF' jumps are recognised worldwide by any other federation part of the FAI.
We do issue certificates upon request against a fee. However, your personal logbook will be of more value as it contains detailed information about your skydive. It's signed by your certified instructors and accepted worldwide.
Given the unpredictability of the weather, it is difficult to say when is a good time. Nevertheless, we welcome you to start any time during our season, from October to April.

During your AFF or any instructional jumps, only your instructor(s) will be wearing a camera to record your jump. Please keep in mind that this video is only for teaching purposes. If you are interested in an external outside video, we can arrange for another instructor to join you to capture and record the entire experience. A Gyrocopter is most closely comparable to a helicopter, with the distinction that its engine isn’t directly connected to the rotors. Instead, the rotors freewheel, a phenomenon known as autorotation. Powered by a propeller the gyrocopter achieves forward motion, forcing air through the rotors to induce autorotation.
You should ideally be in comfortable sports, athletic wear, and shoes.

The flying controls are the same as a fixed-wing plane, so flying a gyrocopter has about the same level of difficulty.
No, the gyrocopter cannot do negative-G maneuvers like a plane because it has rotors and they use gravity to keep them turning. But we know you’ll still find a gyrocopter flight super exciting!
For safety reasons, passengers are not allowed to carry phones, cameras, or selfie sticks on board the gyrocopter. An edited video and standard photos of your flight will be provided complimentary and emailed to you within 24 hours of your flight.
