Night jump at desert campus

Published on: 23 Apr 2019

Skydive Dubai’s desert campus will host a night jump for licensed skydivers on May 17, Friday.

There is no cap on the number of slots available, but participants are required to have

  • A minimum USPA B license or it’s FAI equivalent.
  • A minimum of 100 jumps.
  • A gap of no more than 30 days since their last jump.

Each jump is priced at AED 500, and payment will be accepted on the day itself.

The event is open to everybody who qualifies, but if a night jump is the last tick you need to get your USPA D license, you will need to complete two skydives – one hop and pop, and one formation skydive.

Our staff will organize a few loads before sunset (from 5 pm) on the same day for those who haven’t jumped in more than 30 days, and for those who’d like to practice ahead of the night jumps. Regular jump tickets can be used for the daylight loads.

The first take off for the night jump is scheduled for 8 pm, and those interested will need to attend the mandatory briefing at 7 pm. Please note, if you’re not present for this, you will not be able to take part in the night jump event.

The gear store at the dropzone will be open on the day in case you need to rent any gear or buy lights for the jump.

So, if you’d like to sign up, drop our staff a line expressing your interest at with Night Jumps in the subject of your email. They will get back to you with the registration process.
