Desert DZ is open this summer!

Shoutout to all the licensed skydivers who participated in our Jumps in June days at the Desert DZ! A big thank you for your cooperation under the new guidelines and restrictions. 

On to some more good news... we couldn’t be happier to announce that our Desert Dropzone will be open this summer. The updated timings are listed below...

September: Open every Sunday and Monday (i.e. September 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28).
Dropzone opens at 5:45 am (for payments only)
Manifest window opens at
 06:00 am.
First takeoff around 06:30 am. 

October Open every Monday (i.e. October 5, 12, 19, and 26) 
Dropzone opens at 9:15 am (for payments only)
Manifest window opens at 09:30 am.

First takeoff around 10:00 am.

Operations will continue until the weather is suitable. 

Licensed skydivers who need to stay current, or need some coaching, AFF students who are keen to complete their course, or those who simply want to have fun with their sky buddies are all welcome each week.

If you would like to continue your AFF course, license training, or are in need of a recurrency jump, please write to with your details, and our team will guide you on the next steps.

We ask that you take note of the following guidelines if you plan to skydive at the Desert DZ.

  • Please update your documents (license and reserve information) prior to manifesting.
  • You can get your rig checked, tagged, and signed off by our rigging team on the day you skydive. 
  • You need to fill in and sign the newly updated solo jumper waiver for the Desert DZ (It was updated with new information in June.) 
  • You will be able to purchase jump tickets on the day you skydive. 
  • Please know that priority will be given to those who are not eligible to jump at the Palm DZ.
  • No cash payments will be allowed. Only card payments will be accepted.

As you know your health and safety are our number 1 priority, and we will continue to work in-line with the guidelines provided by the Dubai Health Authority to uphold that.

Skydive Dubai staff and personnel have been trained to carry out all the necessary precautions and will also undergo the required checks before we begin operations each day.

Please note...

  • Your temperature will be checked before you enter our facility.
  • You are required to wear a face mask at all points of time and maintain strict levels of hygiene during your visit.
  • Unfortunately, no accompanying visitors/friends/family will be allowed inside our facility. 
  • Please maintain a distance of 2 meters between yourself and fellow customers and staff at all points. 


As skydiving is a contact sport, please understand that in addition to all the precautions and safety measures Skydive Dubai has taken and will continue to take, by skydiving with us you assume all responsibility to the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Skydive Dubai and all its associated and relevant entities cannot guarantee your protection. If you do not accept the risk, despite all the safety measures we have taken and will continue to take, then you should not participate in any skydiving activities.

Please DO NOT visit our location if you are feeling unwell. Anyone who has a continuous cough will be asked to leave our facility.
