Skydive Dubai Palm DZ licensed skydiving information

Starting January 1, 2018, all licensed skydivers new to the Palm DZ will be required to hold a USPA D-license (or it's equivalent) and showing in their logbook a minimum of 1,000 skydives.

Fun jumper's who have already skydived at the Palm DZ are now required to have a USPA D-License (or it's equivalent) plus a minimum of 800 skydives.

All skydivers must comply with our Palm DZ currency requirements. You must have logged one (1) skydive within the preceding 180 days. If you need a recurrency jump, you will need to go to our Desert Campus location.

These changes are going into effect due to upcoming construction at the Palm DZ.

It is highly recommended that all licensed skydiver's hold insurance policies that cover both first and third party liability.

Skydive Dubai Desert Campus DZ skydivers information

All students and licensed skydiver's of all skill levels and jump levels are welcomed at this location.

Please scroll down now to use the form below to message our manifest staff any questions you may have regarding skydiving at the Desert Campus DZ.

Documents required for licensed skydivers to manifest:

  • Valid photo ID
  • A signed log book
  • Memberships and licenses (from the same federation when applicable) must already be valid upon arrival
  • In-date reserve data card (when applicable) must be filed prior to manifesting (reserve repacks are available inside our onsite rigging loft)

Bringing your own rig to our location?

Your rig will be inspected upon your arrival by our riggers before you can manifest onto a plane load

If you plan to rent gear, just request this upon checking in.

Recurrency training and coached jumps are available if required.

Currency requirements are:

Students and non-licensed skydivers who have made a skydive within the previous 30 days.

Licensed skydivers with a total of logged jumps between
25 to 49, made a skydive within the previous two (2) months
50 to 199, made a skydive within the previous three (3) months
200+, made a skydive within the previous six (6) months

Additional Tips for a Great Experience:

Please ensure prior to arrival your personal equipment is in airworthy condition.

AAD's are mandatory (Cypress and Vigil are accepted, however, Argus is not accepted.)

Jumps will be from our aviation fleet at an altitude of 12,500 ft AGL.

Skydive Dubai will not be responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that anyone may incur as a result of planned or unexpected drop zone closures, including but not limited to visas, airfare tickets, hotel, taxi fare, etc.
